UP, UP WITH PEOPLE,
YOU MEET THEM WHEREVER YOU GO!
UP, UP WITH PEOPLE,
THEY'RE THE BEST KIND OF FOLKS WE KNOW.
IF MORE PEOPLE WERE FOR PEOPLE
ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE,
THERE'D BE A LOT LESS PEOPLE TO WORRY ABOUT
AND A LOT MORE PEOPLE TO CARE!
UP, UP WITH PEOPLE....
This blog is dedicated to all of the students that I have taught for the past almost 30 years who came from nations all around the globe. It was your contributions to the society and multiculturalism that gave our homeland such spice and joy!

Mahatma Gandhi on CHILDREN...
"If we are to reach peace in this world and if we are to carry on a war against war, we shall have to begin with the children."

PEACE X PEACE COMMUNITY MEMBER ORIGINAL POEM
HEY SOLDIER MAN
by Dawn Scott (nurse, poet, amateur painter)
Hey Soldier Man look down at me,
Try not to ignore that I'm only three.
Remember the park they made you destroy,
I played there many times with my friends and my toys.
You see that school---the one over there,
I was listening to my teacher when she told me to care.
So, I promise not to be mad at you,
It's your job that makes you do what you do.
Maybe you have children and maybe they are three,
Maybe they look real simular to me.
I hope you never have to do it again,
And I hope maybe some day we can be friends.
Soldier, I know you can understand,
What it's like for a kid to live in these lands!
I need a home with shelter and love,
Both parents to raise me and God up above.
Your welcome to visit and your family too,
But, why not go home and say "How do?"
